Policy & Posting Guidelines

Welcome to the Just BE Member Facebook party!

This Just BE Facebook Group is an online resource for all of you fabulous Black Women Entrepreneurs connect. This is a safe place to communicate with one another, created for you to be able to cultivate and grow your business community. Use this space to ask each other questions, share your victories, voice your struggles, and support one another. 

​POLICIES

• This is a safe space for ALL Black Women Entrepreneurs off all class, education, sexuality, and gender backgrounds. We are explicitly inclusive of trans and AFAB gender non-conforming Black Queer Entrepreneurs.

 

• Give more than you take. Join the conversation and share what has been helping you in your business. A core value at Just BE is share everything. We do not believe in competition. We believe in collaboration and lifting each other up as we climb.

 

• No Drive Bys. Do not show up only to promote yourself / business and leave.

 

• No scheduled posts are permitted in this group.

 

• Do not take informative conversations offline or share information offline. We would like for the conversation to be had within Facebook, so that everyone can benefit from that information. Share with everyone. We are here to grow together.

 

• Do not screen capture or share information from inside this Facebook group on other platforms. The information shared in the Just BE Members facebook group is confidential to members (see Just BE Membership Agreement)

 

• This Facebook group is a space created for positivity and we will accept no negative energy or commentary. If you do not like what someone is saying, please check in with Just BE to solve any disputes.

We reserve the right to remove any content without explanation. Please be mindful about sharing information that does not fit within our rules and values, as it will be removed. Just BE will do our best to keep this space supportive, productive and fun.

Lastly and most importantly, HAVE FUN! We all know that being a Black Woman Boss is hard enough, so do not be afraid to come here and let loose.


FACEBOOK POSTS

We have a hashtag posting structure we would like everyone to follow. The exciting thing about hashtags is that you can search posts in the group based on hashtag using the search box below the phrase "moderate group" in the top left menu:

#RollCall: Introduce yourself and your business with this hashtag. What is your name, business, where are you from, why you are excited to be apart of Just BE and a random fun fact about you.

#Help: Do you have a pressing business question! Like how do I pay self or know any Black Women accountants? Ask away here using this hashtag

#Collaborate: Are you looking for collaboration on a project or just want to see the latest Black Women directed film together? Use this hashtag.

#Money$: We all could use more “dolla dolla bills”, y’all. Use this hashtag for any posts about business financing programs, tips, tricks, or tools. 

#TellMeWhy: Vent. Share. Laugh with a #TellMeWhy story.

#BizResource: Read an article with awesome business tips and you want your sister friends to know about it? Use this hashtag. 

#Opportunity: Use this for any opportunities or events you would like to share with everyone

#Win: How are you winning right now? Let us know!

#Fail: It is important that we honor our fails, especially as Black Women that feel the racial and gender pressure to be right all the time. Share a fail, what you learned and information that may help someone avoid a future fail. This support is the heart of Just BE <3
